The Prosciutto, Brie, and Fig Salad is one of my favorites. It's the perfect combination of fresh and delicious ingredients. In just 5 minutes, you can enjoy this delightful mix of fruit, brie cheese, and prosciutto. Are you up for trying it?
I've always been a fan of prosciutto (much to my dad's dismay, he's more of an Iberian ham enthusiast), and the truth is that many of my recipes always include a little bit of this tasty ingredient.
For those who are vegetarian/vegan, I totally understand, but this recipe definitely wouldn't be the same without the prosciutto. It pairs perfectly with the flavor of the fig and brie, and the best part... these ingredients are so delicious that the dressing is super simple!
So get ready to have the perfect salad in just 5 minutes.
Ingredients (serves 4):
7 figs
100g of brie cheese
1 bag of baby spinach
50g of prosciutto
2 tablespoons of avocado oil
2 tablespoons of vinegar
1 tablespoon of balsamic vinegar glaze
Preparation
There's not much science to it! Simply place your bed of spinach, chop all the ingredients into cubes or slices, and finish by drizzling the salad with avocado oil and balsamic vinegar. But for those who prefer formalities, here's a step-by-step guide:
Spinach Base: Arrange the baby spinach on a large plate as the base of the salad.
Fruit Time: Slice the figs in half. Distribute them evenly over the spinach.
Brie Cheese: Cut the brie cheese into cubes and add it to the salad.
Prosciutto Touch: Divide the prosciutto into small portions and place it on the salad. The saltiness of the prosciutto adds depth to the ensemble.
Dressing and Finishing: Drizzle avocado oil and vinegar over the salad. Add a tablespoon of balsamic vinegar glaze, and you're done!
