Foil Wrapped Fish with Pesto

Hey Root! Today we have a recipe that is not only easy and delicious, but is also super fun to prepare: Foil Wrapped Pesto Fish! Ready for a culinary adventure? Lets go cook!

Ingredients:

  • Pesto (We leave you the recipe for our pesto in this link)

  • Spinach

  • Tomato (sliced)

  • White fish (choose your favorite)

  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

  • Parmesan cheese (sliced or grated)

Steps:

  1. Prepare the Foil paper: Lay out a sheet of shiny aluminum foil as if you're about to create a masterpiece (because you are).

2. Bed of Vegetables: Place a generous layer of spinach on the aluminum foil, followed by 3-4 slices of tomato. This will be the base for your fish.

3. Add the Main Ingredient: Put a piece of white fish on top of your bed of spinach and tomato. Season with a little olive oil, salt and pepper.

4. Pesto Bath: It's pesto time! Cover your fish with a thick layer of pesto. Don't limit yourself.

5. Add the Cheese: Place a few slices of Parmesan cheese on top of the fish to give it that golden and delicious touch.

6. Seal it Baby: Take another sheet of aluminum foil and cover it all, sealing the edges well with small folds so that none of the flavor escapes.

7. Perfect Cooking: Place your package on a griddle over medium heat. Leave it there for about 15 minutes. You know it's ready when the wallpaper is completely inflated.

Tip: Check your fish constantly, all stoves and grills are different so we recommend that after 10 minutes, carefully open your wallpaper (be careful with the steam!) and check if the fish is already well cooked. If it needs a little more, close it again and leave it for 5 additional minutes. If it's already there, take it out before 15 minutes, don't let it burn!

And ready! You now have a Wrapped Pesto Fish that will make everyone order more. Serve it with a smile and prepare for the compliments. Tell us in the comments how it turned out for you and if you enjoyed it as much as we did.

Enjoy!
